05/20 - Memorial Day Weekend Update

Water level on the Gunnison is now down to 890 cfs.
Level on the Gunnison will stay down until after
run-off on the North Fork River.
The Gunnison is clear from Chukar Trail to the Smith
Fork. Water below the Smith Fork is now off color.
Fishing is still good using wooly buggers early in the
morning and the Gunnison omelet is working well.
The Gunnison River below the confluence of the North
Fork and Gunnison is blown out by runoff from the North
Fork.
